H.E.Carpet and Flooring
A division of Baymark Holdings Inc.

H.E. Carpet has been serving the people of Wasaga Beach since 1984. In 2005, new owners bought both the building and the business. The name was enhanced and became H.E. Carpet and Flooring to better represent the new direction of the store. In 2008, Sylvia Bray purchased the business and she continues to run it today.

We carry a wide selection of name brand flooring choices and in many cases we deal directly with the manufacturer. H.E. (as we are known in the trade) was one of the first stores in Simcoe County to ensure that all of our installations are completed by employees of the company as opposed to sub-contractors. Sub-contracting is still how the majority of work completed by our competitors is still done.

On the rare occasion that we do use a sub-contractor, we confirm that all WSIB coverage is in place to ensure that our customers enjoy all of the protection they need. We also carry a very large liability policy, again in order to give our customers the peace of mind they deserve when dealing with professionals.

Guaranteed top quality products, professional installations and fair pricing have ensured our success over the years. Eight out of ten jobs we complete every week are repeat customers or direct referals. This is one reason you seldom see us advertise in mainstreem media.

Stop in to H.E. Carpet and Flooring to ask questions, look around or just say hi. Chances are you will meet the owner, as Sylvia is almost always in the store with her sidekick Bandit (pictured above) at her side.

"BANDIT"

If Sylvia is in the store... so is Bandit.

We plan on filling our website with information usefull to all consumers thinking about replacing their floors. So, this will become a great resource for those wanting to have us bring samples to their home and arrange a professional installation. We also plan on having an extensive how-to section complete with pictures and videos where appropriate. The three pictures to the right show Adam (3 years experience) cutting a 54 oz.  berber carpet in preparation for a seam, placing the seaming iron under the edges of the 2 carpet pieces and using the tractor to ensure the adhesive bonds properly to the carpets... making them one. You can see the helpful hands of Don(45 years experience) guiding Adam in the fine art of making a seam as close to invisible as possible every time.

It's not always as easy as...

D.I.Y.?

The primary function of most web sites is to direct people to your store. With the far reaching abilities of the world wide web, we know that we will also answer questions for people we will never meet. Regardless of where you live, feel free to ask us any questions. We know it is often difficult finding answers to flooring questions. Your enquiries will help us to continuously improve our "Do It Yourself" area. Thank you for stopping at our site.
